This Website is for showing the personal profile of myself (Sohag Kumar Saha) I completed my bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Pabna University of Science and Technology with 1st class 1st position and secured CGPA 3.87 out of 4.00. I have won the BASIS outsourcing award-2014 for Outstanding Web development works. Currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Tennessee Technological University TN USA towards my Ph.D. in Engineering degree. My research interests include: Smart Grid Systems Integration of Renewable Energy Energy Storage Systems PV Hosting Capacity Peak Shaving Economic Load Dispatch Optimization using Meta-heuristic Algorithms and application of Machine Learning in Smart Grids. Earlier I have completed my B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Pabna University of Science & Technology (PUST) Pabna Bangladesh in Jan 2014. I am glad to share that I secured the 1st Class 1st position in the class among 52 students based on merit with CGPA 3.87 (on a scale of 4.00) and equivalent marks was 89.08%. After completing graduation from the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering of Pabna University of Science & Technology (PUST) Bangladesh; I started my career in my own start up named Cloud Tech BD which is currently one of the leading IT firm in Pabna district of Bangladesh. As a CO-Founder of Cloud Tech BD I received a lot experiences in problems solving leadership skills and management of an organization. Then I switched to Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) Dhaka as an Assistant Engineer which is the largest electricity distribution utility in Bangladesh. After that I have worked at Ashuganj Power Station Company Ltd. as a Sub-Divisional Engineer (Electrical) for more than 5 years which is the 2nd largest power generating station of Bangladesh. Those professional experiences have enriched my technical knowledge developed leadership skills and improved problem solving abilities. After gaining professional experiences of about 6 years in some top organizations in Bangladesh I would like to develop thriving career in research oriented academia which has always been my long cherished dream therefore working on my interested domain of research for accomplishing my higher degree through research.
